Emergent Properties
From the basic elements of time
and space, order is coerced from
chaos. Gradually the rough materials
of steel, copper and brass are reduced
and refined to reveal a working clock,
mirroring the structure of space-time
itself.
The clockworks are all handmade
and are exposed to the universe for
all to see. The hour hand and the
minute hand are supplemented by a
sweep second hand which while
increasing the complexity of the
piece also allows for precise checking
of heart rate.
It is powered by 120 VAC, 60 HZ
