COMMISSIONSIf you would like to commission a sculpture I would be happy to create a unique work of art for you. Please feel free to contact me with your request for a proposal. While the process involves a lot of back and forth communication, it would help if you would think about and define a number of ideas first, in order to expedite matters.

Think about the general theme, as opposed to the exact design, that you would like to see. generally, this is not a problem as this is the major reason to commission a piece.
Think about where it will be displayed. Is it going to be a store front window display, a wall hanging, a table top display or a permanent installation? Will it be tall and thin or short and flat? Do you want it to hang from the ceiling?
Will the sculpture have continuous access to line voltage? If hanging, do you want to have a line cord running up to the ceiling and over to a wall receptacle? If battery powered, how long will the sculpture be left on and how often to you want to change the batteries.
All of my sculptures are, much like myself, loud and obnoxious, cacophonous and irritating. It is simply not possible for me to create a quiet machine. Please keep this in mind when deciding to place a clock sculpture on your spouse's headboard.
This question most often comes down to: You: "What kind of sculpture can you make for me"?Me: "How much monies ya got in yo pocket?"In reality, because I enjoy the creative process so much, I usually can do more for you, per dollar, than you might expect. |
